The comparative analysis of the composition of biologically active substances of HERACLEUM SOSNOWSKYI and HERACLEUM SIBIRICUM and their antimicrobial activity
Introduction: Laminaria, also known as kelps, is a complex brown alga with high species, biomass, dominance, and economic significance. It has the highest primary productivity rates and is found in temperate regions but can grow vegetatively in tropical or semitropical conditions. Laminaria thalli can be divided into holdfast, stipe, and lamina. It is a pharmacopoeial CHD with two producing plants: Laminaria japonica Aresch and Laminaria saccharina (L.)
Objective: to optimize the extraction of flavonoids and nyaroxycamic acas tom plans or the genus Lamium according to the following parameters: extraction temperature, ratio of raw materials to extractant and extraction time
This study highlights the potential of invasive plants like Heracleum sosnovskyi and Heracleum sibiricum, whose coumarins and flavonoids show promising pharmacological properties, for new drug development and use as medicinal resources.
The aim of the study was to comprehensively consider the factors affecting the development of spray film-forming system according to the QbDapproach and the subsequent implementation of the results in the development process.
Introduction: Rubus odoratus L. is a deciduous shrub that grows wild in the eastern part of North America. The main morphological features are: the similarity of leaves in shape to maple leaves, the presence of nectaries and small sour fruits. Resistance to low temperatures, soil fertility, lack of moisture and lighting makes Rubus odoratus L. a valuable garden crop for growing in temperate climate. The relevance of this work is determined by the lack of information about the signs of vegetative organs of Rubus odoratus L.
Introduction: Sambucus ebulus L. - a perennial herbaceous plant of the Caprifoliacee family. It contains amygdalyn which converts into hydrocyanic acid and is used as a medicinal plant in traditional medicine.
Introduction: oncolytic viruses (OVs) are promising cancer therapeutics, which have already shown effectiveness and low toxicity during clinical trials in humans. In our research, we decided to evaluate the oncolytic effect of various human enteroviruses on primary canine cancer cell cultures
Microneedle (MN) technology has emerged as a novel method for delivering drugs through the skin without the pain or invasiveness of traditional needles.
Recent research has highlighted potential applications of MN patches not only in systemic drug delivery but also in areas like oral hygiene and sleep regulation. Leveraging MN technology to deliver both caffeine and melatonin could lead to innovative approaches that promote better oral health, improved sleep quality, and enhanced productivity.
Introduction:COVID‑19 has increased the prevalence of oral infections, particularly candidiasis in denture users due to immune suppression Goal: Develop denture cleaning kits thatincorporate natural antifungal agents, including Ricinus Communis extract (RCE), for effective biofilm control and enhanced patient compliance
Purpose: To study the effect of preparation of chloramphenicol solid dispersion on the solubility of the active substance and develop a chloramphenicol-based gel formulation with increased release of the active ingredient and improved stability.
Purpose: To identify the anticancer effect of a polyphenone extract of the knotwood or Larix Dahurica Turcz, the components of which may be potential chemotherapeutic agents in brain cancer, using the MTT assay.
Objective: to perform pharmacoepidemiological and pharmacoeconomic analysis of antibacterial drugs used for nosocomial infections treatment in Moscow hospital
The aim: to conduct a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the content of biologically active substances in the extracts of the herb Parietaria Officinalis on various solvents using HPLC method
Abstact: This study introduces a novel transdermal system using niosome-encapsulated hydrogels to enhance the delivery of testosterone for treating male hypogonadism, addressing issues like rapid metabolism and skin irritation. By incorporating testosterone into niosomes within a hvdrogel base, the system improves stability, targeting, and encapsulation. Analytical methods assessed the characteristics and performance of these hydrogels compared to commercial options like Androgel, showing superior absorption and bioavailability. In vitro and in vivo tests demonstrated high drug release rates, confirming the effectiveness and consistency of the hydrogel formulation in delivering testosterone through the skin, thereby offering potential advancements in testosterone replacement therapy with reduced side effects and increased patient compliance
Goal: Using a spectrophotometric method of analysis, conduct various methods of chemical destruction of levofloxacin to enable their use in its neutralization.
Aim: Investigation of the stability of poloxamer-based gelling systems during autoclaving; identification and development of methods to protect them from the negative effects of sterilization.
Objective: Development of recommendations for improving the modern system of professional training of pharmaceutical workers in the Russian Federation.
PURPOSE: To assess the validity of the use of Corrigiola telephiifolia Pourr. roots as a new medicinal raw material and to analyze the authenticity indicators and antioxydant activity.
Introduction: The herb violet has a long history of use as an expectorant and anti-inflammatory agent. The analysis of modern scientific literature reveals a wide range of therapeutic activities associated with this raw material. Standardization of the herb violet is carried out in accordance with the requirements of FS 2.5.0044.15 Violet herb – Violae Herba. To identify the authenticity of whole, crushed, and powdered materials, a set of external signs, microscopy, and thin-layer chromatography are used. In the solvent system of ethyl acetate, anhydrous formic acid, and water (65:15:20), a zone of rutin is identified. A qualitative reaction for polysaccharides is also suggested. These methods allow for the identification of whole and ground materials, but they may cause difficulties when it comes to identifying powdered violet herba, which is used in the production of some prophylactic dental agents. Therefore, the current trend in pharmaceutical analysis is to develop instrumental methods for identifying this raw material.
Objective: Evaluation of the prospects of using xyloglucan for the development of in situ drug delivery systems, consideration of expanding the possibilities of its production.
Introduction: DHQ is а promising antioxidant. We wanted to analyze its activity with ABTS, using Consecutive HRMS and got over 250K "m/z-Intensity" pairs. It was too much data for manual analysis. While there are many tools for processing HRMS data in single spectra analysis, there are no such methods for consecutive HRMS data handling
Background: Bryonia is traditionally used in homeopathy, but its phytochemical composition and biological activity have not yet been sufficiently studied. Scientific data on the antitumor and antiviral properties of these plants are limited but promising, which makes the research especially important.
Introduction: Vaginal treatments have been shown to be effective for management of urogenital and sexual symptoms associated with menopause. However, their practical efficacy is dependent on patients' acceptability and their willingness to use them. Women tend to be more demanding regarding treatment attributes when the treatment is used for therapeutic purposes rather than for preventive purposes. Studies on acceptability of vaginal dosage forms had so far focused on product attributes rather than patient attributes.
Objective: This study aims to investigate the total polyphenol content (TPC) and antioxidant activity of polyphenols extracted from both the pulp and seeds of Mauritia flexuosa (aguaje) in both fresh and controlled dehydrated states.
